A three-day event including teacher training, lab training, and project management team meeting was organized at Aalto University from September 9 to September 11, 2024. The event was participated by representatives of all project partner institutions.
The teacher training was designed to introduce student centered teaching methods to the teachers of partner universities. Several different techniques were exercised using the lighting course content to practice the new teaching methods. It was further agreed to have workshop in Mozambique to continue the training on new teaching methods with large group of teachers, including also other departments than electrical engineering. Teacher training was given on lighting design using light planning software Relux.
Lighting measurement training was given to train to use the lab equipment, familiarize on the measurement standards and procedures, and to conduct lab exercises for students. Project Management Team Meeting was also held to discuss on the past activities and plan the future activities.
