The meeting in Athens, hosted by the Hellenic Open University, ended with great success. On the first day the team focused on the course development workshop. The African partners presented the key findings of the need assessment report and the group had a fruitful discussion. Next, the revision and development of the Curriculum was discussed and then the team defined the learning outcomes of the new courses and a joint decision was made on the preliminary structure of the new courses. On the second day, the overall status of the project was discussed. The progress, achievements and prospects of work packages 1 (Project Management), 2 (Preparation), 3 (Course Development) and 7 (Dissemination and Exploitation) were discussed in more detail.
The project management meeting concluded with planning the work for the next six months (Course development and course approval process and workshop establishment). A social event was planned for the same evening at the Acropolis Museum. On the last day, the team visited Greek stakeholders in the lighting industry to network and spread the word about the project. After the visits the group visited the Acropolis.
