{"id":1521,"date":"2025-07-28T12:26:17","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T12:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slsim.eap.gr\/?p=1521"},"modified":"2026-02-04T20:06:24","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T20:06:24","slug":"course-testing-intensive-seminar-at-isps-songo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slsim.eap.gr\/?p=1521","title":{"rendered":"Course testing intensive seminar at ISPS, Songo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From June 16 to 18, 2025, a three-day seminar was held at the Instituto Superior Polit\u00e9cnico de Songo (ISPS) in Songo Town, Tete Province, to test the two newly designed courses \u2014 Fundamentals of Lighting and Lighting Technology. The seminar brought together more than 60 participants, including students and lecturers from Universidade Rovuma, teachers from ISPS, ISPT, Instituto M\u00e9dio Dom Bosco, Instituto Industrial de Matundo, as well as representatives from public institutions and other organizations working in the energy sector, such as HCB and FUNAE. Professors from Aalto University, Hellenic Open University, and ISPS delivered lectures covering modules from both courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics covered ranged from photometry, light source technologies, and lighting design principles to energy efficiency, sustainability, and modern teaching strategies for lighting education. The program also included practical training sessions, featuring hands-on demonstrations using a smart lighting kit and lighting simulations with Relux software.
